@Kirin - We had insurance for house (the one actually called "fire insurance"), so we'll get some help in funding the rebuild of the interior.. still don't know how much tho.
@NZSouthernMan - Entire inside of the house is unusable, and half of it is burned. Outside looks like nothing happened.. except the part of the roof that is "missing".
At least the new Fridge and TV were at the apartment? Hopefully?
At least you won't have to live in a hotel for months. Ask if insurance will cover some of your rent since you can't move into the house on your original timeline. Probably a longshot, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
