I'm not a native english speaker, I got curious about what "Dick Pound" could mean so he could only get it on birthday.

Between Dick Pound, the First Nations graves, and the big dead tree, it's been a wild time for Canada.

You'd think Mr and Mrs Pound would have thought twice before naming their son 'Richard'.
Mind you, I know a guy who's named 'Dick Shiner', which is also his dad, and his grandad's name, so maybe they were just trying to spread the misery to a new generation.
(He always goes by Richard funnily enough)

Knew a guy called Dick Pracht. Freely translates as Splendour. We were soooo immature about it for years on end :)
