Yup.

.. the house we bought 2 months ago'ish, caught fire while we were not there. The damage is extensive. Right now we're waiting for the insurance company to get back to us about how much help they'll be able to give us in the fixing of the damage done by the fire. It was batteries from a power tool that caught fire, one that our handyman-guy left there over night. Yay.
We had not fully moved into the house, so most of our stuff wasn't there when the fire happened. But all the electronics and network stuff was done and done, so all that is gone, and I'll have to replace it (Japanese fire insurance doesn't cover objects damaged by the fire, weird, right?), but it could have been so much worse, so I'll happily do that :)
So, everything has been put on a back burner. The NON-nft ninjas, updates, even my daytime job has been neglected thanks to this. But, I'm slowly making my way back and catching up on things, and hope to be back in the same old shoes in 1-2 more weeks.

Holy cow, that's crazy. Glad no one was hurt.
Shit, that's bad news. Good luck with the insurance company.
Oh man, and I thought you were joking, to put a swing on those TCP packets. So good that not nearly all your stuff was in there, but still, so bad that, well, it's your new place dammit!
That really stinks. Best of luck and let us know if there are ways to help from afar. - cce
@Skjie - Yeah, very grateful.
@phuzz - Thanks! Will need it!
@Erik - I know -_-;
@cceddie - Thanks! :)
Shit… that’s awful… hope the insurance money covers most of the damage! Gambatte!
