NFT's are really bad.

@nick and @kiwi - Well, then I'll only do it this once then anyways. So hope that helps with not contributing to the fad any more? :) But to be honest. TV consumption and Netflix consumption can also be viewed by some as same kind of wastefulness.. or am I reading that article wrong? :)
Aside from the energy thing, the main concern I have with NFT is the emptiness of the "goods" being exchanged.
NFT does not act as some sort of certificate of authenticity for the possession of a piece of art; it does not grant possession, copyright or a license to use: all this must be done by the author separately from selling the nft.
the token being exchanged is not the art; usually the token only contains a publicly accessible URL pointing to the art. When the server is taken down, the token is empty.
In fact, the only thing sold/bought when an NFT is exchanged is the token itself, and the token is mostly an empty void.
