As I cannot comment on the old "New Site" rant:
The https://www.little-gamers.com/feed/ is still a bit broken in that it contains invalid XML: The atom:link tag in line 16 is self-closed but apparantly that trips feed parsers. Investigation showed you cannot have attributes in self-closing tags. Thanks for putting up with this :)
