I still can't belive the laws in Sweden. Ok you ban prostitution, most people will say that's ok . Not that the seller not even gets slapped on the wrist but the buyer gets arrested. But it's ok.

yupp, the bigger newspaper don't seem to mention it. Must have something to do with promotoing him as evil f.... before. But there are some interesting blog posts and smaller newspapers that explain that. Some say it was completly without, some say it brooke, i'm not sure. Just google condom and Assange ^^.

The case got launched (to unprecedented publicity), dropped, then launched again with the international arrest order.

I don't believe there ever was any forcing involved, neither woman did anything after they "talked to each other". The prosecutor is being extremely vocal and public about this whole thing. As the comic states, everything points towards some government stepping in.

I've mainly herad about this on the BBC and, they haven't outright said it, but they've implied that America is putting diplomatic pressure on Sweden to do something about this turbulent priest.

Anyway, the point I was making is that there's some validity in that idea and somewhat expanding on Hugomanen's "everything points towards some government stepping in" - it's not so much things pointing at, but a specific government actually doing.
