Damn doors, always in the way...
You mean stairs ;)
Its quite logical, you cant open a stair thus you are bound to walk into them!
You cant walk on doors either, for pretty much the same reason.
Do people look their stairs in Japan?

@ Anonymoose: Nah, how do you think the Yakuza got so big?
I don't think the Yakuza specializes on robbing houses, since mos of the ppl in Japan live in apartments (I think) which means they have to walk up all those doors if they wanna start with the stairs on the top floor. Or they just use the elevator, whatever.
Nicely put Anonymoose ^^
Thinking about it though, since every room has a door, every time something is moved from one room to another in japan it must fall down the doors making the poor people rather surprised at to how this can be.
Thus the Yakuza can simply pick up the stuff neatly lying at ground level (and kidnap the rather confused inhabitants suffering great fall damage)
Great logic, but ill break it right after the start -> not every room has to have doors, some of em just have big holes, ha! gotcha.
Btw with the blood thing : when you get your spine broken, will you bleed on your face? o.O i never broke mine, will try tho.
Clearly you never heard of the concept of one way
In japan there is only one way to do a specific task.
thus there is only one way to exit a room - through doors!
thus every room must have a door.
Actually I'll contest that, Everything must be done one specific way,
a Room must be exited, through an exit. Not necessarily a door.
as for the breaking of the spine and blood on the face.... it's splatter, gravity is different in japan.
Ooooh, different gravity, never knew. Mystery solved. Thx a lot.
So you walk up the exit out of the stairs? Or down the locked doors that are placed in pairs on the leftover stairs... I get confused. Where's my TomTom?
TomTom=Ninja, off course
theres a Costa Rica Bar? =O =O
