Fuck, if anyone achieves a godless utopia nation I want in. Though USA is probably hopeless. It’s actually even sad for such a developed country. Religion is really going to be USA’s doom.

July 28th, 2008 at 12:44 pm

There’s always room for jell-o~

July 28th, 2008 at 12:50 pm

Well if the jell-o company baught blackwater or someone other Pmc and got partners/friends with Fox i think jello would be able to create a conflict

July 28th, 2008 at 3:38 pm

lets here it for secularity! also you guys should be thankful you didnt have to have world youth day.

July 28th, 2008 at 4:38 pm

Being as how the USA is based on RELIGIOUS freedom i am guessing the hope of it becoming the atheist promise land is zero to nil.

Would be nice though. :)

July 28th, 2008 at 5:31 pm

Screw it! I know atheism and it’s just as radical as every other religion. I believe in an Utopia where everyone can choose his own believes without being judged… and who doesn’t will be shot!

July 28th, 2008 at 5:34 pm

Funny cos Stalin and Pol Pot were Atheists and they killed millions of people.

Woo so more wars for america!

July 28th, 2008 at 6:04 pm

I’m guessing you guys will like this then

PS it does contain some UK only references that may be lost on you internationals, but you’ll appreciate most of it

July 28th, 2008 at 6:50 pm

Dieborn, and you’re point is?

How many of the deaths were because people were infidels or lived in the atheist holy lands?

Mass murder is just mass murder, makes no difference the persons own belief. Religion itself has encouraged violence.

July 28th, 2008 at 10:02 pm

>>We all know religion is the cause or reason for all wars..

Well I guess that makes Nazism, Communism Socialism and Capitalism (and Feudalism) religions. I mean come off it most wars have always been for economic or expansionist reasons – some king or ruler wants to make their country bigger. Most countries have gone to war because they “could” – they stood to gain from winning. What about civil wars? What about WW1&2.. Hitler and Stalin weren’t too religious =). Just about the only purely religious wars in Europe were the crusades – and then you can’t call those purely religious since they were often attempts to stop the Turkish invasion and are more complicated.

Oh, the comic wasn’t very serious. Dang. Nice one.

July 28th, 2008 at 10:41 pm

Ok, thats a bit serious I’m saying that atheists are just as bad as religious leaders in violence.

Kings of England invading the holy land and suicide bombers killing innocents happens as well but atheists shouldnt be all high and mighty thinking that there way is better and that they are superior.

Religious leaders are dangerous as they can convince members of a religion that certain things are justified even if it goes against the teachings of that religion.

Atheist leaders are dangerous as they don’t believe in any higher power or any moral consequnces for their actions and being as they answer to nobody on this earth they do as they please and that also results in wars and death.

Either way its just a comment on a funny comic,

July 29th, 2008 at 3:49 am

Atheists have no morals? really? I’m an atheist and i don’t believe im superior to those of faith. I’d also like it pointed out that hitler was raised a roman catholic and was like stalin and pol pot a meglomaniac you can’t judge a group of people by their worst otherwise we’d all lose out to the scientologists.

July 29th, 2008 at 10:45 am

Of course Athiests have morals.. a religion doesn’t make you more or less moral.. just gives you an ethical/theological basis to form your morals on.

I can’t wait to see Boyd claim Madsens left nut if Obama wins.

July 29th, 2008 at 11:23 am

Dude i said both are just as bad. And i didnt say atheists just atheist leaders.

Its all the power they have not the beliefs. If you have total power over a country sometimes it makes you do immoral things regardless of your upbringing or whatever its the same for all groups.

Chill out.

July 29th, 2008 at 3:16 pm

dieborn, one thing though, I have still to hear of a single war started over disbelief. And your claim that atheists have no morals, that’s just idiotic.

July 29th, 2008 at 3:50 pm

Ah, politics and religion! More guaranteed to provoke a response than anus fruitshakes. Lots of sensitive people out there and I can understand why, becuase it is a serious issue that governs the world we live in, so here is my thoughts on the matter:
We’ve already got a war going on here in this forum just because of a little comic, you wankers. Its all fun and games till someone gets some explosives isn’t it! Someone mentions politics and religion and you get people (not all of you I must say!) get on the defensive marking out their lines. Why can’t we all agree that humans with any desire for power, be it religious or political, are by their very nature greedy megalomaniacal nutjobs that will hunt, kill and stab stab stab till they get the power they crave, and as such the entire human race is doomed, as is this planet, and we can all get back to reading the irreverant but not always irrelevant funnies of little-gamers to distract ourselves from the fact that the real world is not a place I would chose to live in if I had any choice. The next person to say something serious or getting all sensitive about the issue please poke yourself in the eye, or murder yourself with spoons, unless that would make you a martyr in which case just stuff em up your ass! K? Thx!

July 29th, 2008 at 3:52 pm

By the way, despite the angry tone of my message it is not meant to be taken too serioulsly – I’m an apathetic person so don’t really get involved in issues – and apathetic people don’t start wars – too much effort!

July 29th, 2008 at 4:35 pm

He he, this happens lots in web discussions and blogs – one guy makes a serious comment, annoys someone, who makes a spirited reply, which annoys everyone, because he’s taking it too seriously and in the end its a mess. Pretty much like how wars are started.

July 29th, 2008 at 6:02 pm

I know, and now I’ve become one of them – Arrrggghhhhhhh! Its pretty therapeutic though. I was having a shitty day at work (can you tell!) and now I feel cleansed!

July 29th, 2008 at 8:16 pm

Yes, the world is shitty and it will continue to be shitty. But it would be less shitty without religion since it gets in the way of science, common sense, rational thinking and modern life.

July 30th, 2008 at 9:00 am

@kyou: … and sex. Religion gets in the way of sex. That’s a real shame.

July 30th, 2008 at 4:48 pm

Religion gets in the way of sex? I tho’t religion was to make it impossible for women to refuse sex? Muslims get to have multiple wives (‘n virgins in the afterlife =). And take your average american cult – the cult leader gets to have sex with all the chix! Plus all the frigid/non-horny people go to monasteries so there’s more horny people for the rest of us.

Dang, if my wife was a bit religious thing’s’d be easier..

July 30th, 2008 at 9:53 pm

I rather have Agnostics then Athiests.
At least those server science more

July 31st, 2008 at 8:59 am

ya know, in my neighbourhood 25.2% have no religion, next is catholic with 22%..feel free the visit the northern suburbs of south Australia… if you can find it. its a pretty boring place. lol.

July 31st, 2008 at 3:23 pm

Razesdark : Can you explain that logic to me please?

August 1st, 2008 at 3:01 pm

Stalin was not atheist he went at priest school in the captial city of Georgien Tlibisi.
Hitler was religious and belived in god. Read bullocks biography about hitler or make your time and read Mein Kampf.
Beside the whole discussion about religion and atheist, this a comic site give me a breake.

August 1st, 2008 at 6:34 pm

I hate to be all bitchy and shit, but where’s the forum? Madsen? I think many of us will appreciate it a lot. Like Geo, he needs willie in his ass. Now continue with your pointless discussion.

There is no spoon.
