SUPER SHARE THIS THINGIE!

... Yeah, shareThis is being a real bitch with letting me customize it the way I want, so while I work on that, you'll just have to settle for the shareThis-button next to the rant, and I'll get back to you soon.

"Minus in timetravel"

Oh man, what a day, what a day.

We left our hotel in hartford at 4.45am, came to the airport and everything ran smooth, we borded and the flight left in time, so far so good. Somewhere around “almost-in-chicago”, we got the news that o’hare was closed due to thunderstorm, so we circled the area for an hour before landing in Detroit to pick up more gas.. took us 3 hours to do that. Finally in the air and then landed in Chicago, our 2h flight had taken 7h.. f’ing yay™.

This meant that everything at O’hare this splendid day was delayed, and so was our ride to Narita. But hey, after a few hours waiting, we got going and sat down in monkey-class for some homoerotic 13h adventure! :(

The flight between Chicago and Narita wasn’t that bad actually, not as bad as a flight in monkey-class between Copenhagen and Bangkok.

We’re now at the hotel in Shinjuku (yeah, this time it’s shinjuku, not shibuya), and eating some fresh sushi and drinking some asahi’s :D The trip only took like 27 hours >_<

I'll be twittering ever so often from here (well, if I find open networks, since I have an old iPhone, and everything here is that mad new cool thing they call 3G). So, keep an eye on that.

Anyways, food is done and beer has been drunken (ehm, you know what I mean), so now I’ll hit the f’ing sack. Talk to you later.

OH! Fuck O’Hare btw :)

Right now, I’m on an airplane to Tokyo. Just so you know :D

Connecticon was good, we got drunk a lot and got to hang out with our comic friends and also made some new ones. As far as the actual convention goes, I’ve made more money playing chess than we did at our booth. But hey, it’s all fun and games as long as we make enough to pay for the drinking ;)

Anyways.. I’ll post some pictures later I guess if anyone is interested, from both conventions and some from Tokyo when we get there.

One love people, one love.

So, I’m a bit late on the updates, mainly since we had no internet access when we where in Texas, and we just arrived at Hartford/Connecticut. I’ll try and make a comic for tomorrow, and that should hopefully go up around 20.00 or something CET (2PM EST), but who knows, that might not happen :(

We have a panel tomorrow at 11AM (just found that out an hour ago), and we also have one on sunday.. great, so much for preparations.. oh well, we’ll just do a Q&A with the 3 dudes that shows up :)

Now, I need to sleep. Hopefully I’ll se some of you guys tomorrow :D

.. oh, and we shot guns today, I might have liked it a bit too much :/

Last friday I actually flew to San Diego, to surprise our friend Joel. He’s moving to the UK, and this would be the last year for our Swedish BBQ, and I just couldn’t miss that. The whole surprise we had planed backfired tho since I got in at 3-3.30 AM, and not 11PM. But all’s good, all’s good.

Since I was in town, I went to the convention and met some readers, signed some books and all that jazz. Big thanks to everyone that dropped by, it’s always awesome to meet you guys :D. It’s nice how you recognize more and more of the people who shows up, again, thanks for showing up ^^

.. didn’t that sound desperate? :)

Big shout out to MC Frontalot for being kind enough to trade me 2 CDs for some LG merchandize, thank you. Oh, and a HUGE thank you to the girl (your name totally is not in my head and I can’t find it in there either) who dropped by and gave us a tokidoki doll, I’m forever grateful :D

AAAANNNYYYYYWAAAAYS… We’re sticking around in SD for 2 more days, I need to loose my Jetlag (and there’s a wild rumor that the guys are teaching me how to surf), then we head down to Texas to hook up with our beloved super-awesome friend Monica Rial for a 24h shoot-guns-ride-horses-eat-BBQ-buy-a-hat-that-you-will-never-ever-wear-again-and-get-shitfaced race. After that little venture, it will be time for Connecticon, in Connecticut.

Looking forward to this con so very much. We’ve never been to a convention that’s so much webcomic’ished, so it’ll be interesting to see how this all works out. I was looking thru the guest list and kept going “Oh, I know that guy”, “I remember those guys”, “Doesn’t that guy owe me $100?”. The line-up they have is unbelievable … so it’ll hopefully be a hoot! ;)

We made some special convention stuff, so make sure to drop by early if you wantz some :)

Ok, time to get some breakfast, and then god knows what :)

TTYL xoxo.

The guys over at applegeeks scored, scored big! They just announced that they’ve signed with Dark Horse and that the first issue of AppleGeeks will hit up stores around june 2009!

And to quote Hawk*

I pee’d myself a little when the deal was done.

Congrats guys :D

(*Hawk didn’t say this, but he should have said it.. or maybe he did, and he’s not that kind of guy that tells you about it, who knows!)

Some more humor for you all this wonderful morning.

- sample all the local schnaps ( the reason you’re drunk)
- plot to take over the world
- steal one of those cart thingies
- explain to security why you stole one of those cart thingies
- try more schnaps
- throw up at the bank counter
- explain to security why you threw up at the bank counter
- explain your world dominion plot to security.
- drink more schnapps ( with said security )
- try to board the flight as functioning human

Or maybe I should say, in the “US” :)
Funny shit :)
