@lost_scotsman: those are QR codes (look on wikipedia)
@madsen: could you provide a “translation” of that code to those not having a smartphone at hand? :D
March 1st, 2011 at 11:24 am
You can scan it with your phone and then you’ll be linked to their website. A new kind of barcode, I think. We’ve got them too but I don’t know why. For only those who bear the mark will be able to buy and sell? The end is fscking nigh, my friend.
March 1st, 2011 at 11:34 am

Wow, that was an elaborate way to do that one.

This one takes the cake :P
March 1st, 2011 at 12:36 pm
Google “QR Code” to get the correct application (if your phone doesn’t already have it). Funny :)
March 1st, 2011 at 12:49 pm

March 1st, 2011 at 1:20 pm

March 1st, 2011 at 1:26 pm

March 1st, 2011 at 5:03 pm
I hope that’s a rickroll and not 2 girls 1 cup.
(I’m another person stuck with a crappy phone that doesn’t do sparkly magic stuff)
March 1st, 2011 at 5:05 pm

Yeah, someone give it up for those of us who’d rather spend our hard earned cash on beer and upgrading our PC rather than on buying an overly flash phone!
March 1st, 2011 at 6:09 pm

I’m a privileged boy,
It’s great, I gotta tell ya!
Privileged boy,
My dad can buy and sell ya!
It really doesn’t matter
That you’re on the list in front of me
I’m gonna get your table,
Cuz I always tip the maitre d’
And then I’ll go to Yale
Because I am a legacy!
I’m better than you!
March 1st, 2011 at 7:46 pm
For those without a QR code reader in their phone, just upload a screenshot of the QR code above onto http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx and it will show you the decoded QR.
March 1st, 2011 at 9:03 pm
For the technically challenged: You can use an online qr code reader, for example http://zxing.org/w/decode?u=http%3A%2F%2Flittle-gamers.com%2Fcomics%2F2011-03-01.gif&full=true
March 1st, 2011 at 9:17 pm
bastards. :)
March 1st, 2011 at 9:33 pm
You can put the image’s URL in the zebra-crossing web-decoder:
http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx
Zebra-crossing is an open-source QR-code scanner and decoder library from Google for… well… everything. Android, iPhone, blackberry, adobe flash 9+, java-based phones, desktop java applications, you name it. Evidentially, it works as a server-side component as well.
So, no need to buy a phone or anything.

Now remember kids you can always be awesome and use a desktop QR reader and put your webcam up against your screen. Fuck mobile phones!
March 2nd, 2011 at 2:22 am
for the phone/tech challenged, just toss this string in google “qr code reader from image” and you should get as the first result a place that you can just put in the image URL and it will decode it for you :)

March 2nd, 2011 at 6:26 am

March 2nd, 2011 at 11:39 am
The QR-Code will give you this: http://bit.ly/4kb77v
But… i’m much more interested in photos of your new office. would be amazing ;)
March 2nd, 2011 at 11:43 am
QR code?
I thought that was one of those things you used to verify that the thing you downloaded is all present and correct. Somehow. I never got how they worked but ok.
March 2nd, 2011 at 3:33 pm
If you’ve got the app, you scan the weird thingy with your phone’s camera and get linked through to the related website. Sort of like a barcode for the web.
March 2nd, 2011 at 5:34 pm
Tha QR aplications are FREE. If your phone does not have wifi you can download it and install it by usb cable. I had a QR reader in my old Nokia N-73, 4 years ago. And, the QR technology is more than 15 years old! There’s no excuse, don’t be lazy, people! It’s for the fun!
March 2nd, 2011 at 6:24 pm
how bout for those of us with crappy phones and no web cam… be nice to know whats going on here.
March 2nd, 2011 at 6:41 pm

http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx
