I still can’t belive the laws in Sweden. Ok you ban prostitution, most people will say that’s ok . Not that the seller not even gets slapped on the wrist but the buyer gets arrested. But it’s ok.

But it is actual a sex crime if you don’t want to get tested, after having consentual sex and the rubber bursts? That comes right after raping a helpless woman with a knife right at her throat? What’s to do if you get a blowjob? Sent the receiver to a dentist?

There are only 3 letters for that: WTF!

Yeah. It’s funny how much attention Wikileaks is getting now, all as a direct result of America’s butthurtedess.

Michel: Wait, that’s what happened with Assange? The rubber burst?

Also, what happened to the 10-years arc?

December 7th, 2010 at 10:04 am

yupp, the bigger newspaper don’t seem to mention it. Must have something to do with promotoing him as evil f…. before. But there are some interesting blog posts and smaller newspapers that explain that. Some say it was completly without, some say it brooke, i’m not sure. Just google condom and Assange ^^.

Kudos to Swedish men, you’ve got to be tough bastards ^^

He had consensual sex with two different women (one at a time) according to the prosecutor at some point during each intercourse the condom broke, the women wanted to stop, but he kept on going against her/their will.
The case got launched (to unprecedented publicity), dropped, then launched again with the international arrest order.

At least according to danish newspapers.

> the women wanted to stop, but he kept on going against her/their will.
that in my book would be rape and not consensual. those newspaper journalists and prosecutor should make up their minds!

Naaw, he just so desperately wants to be a father… that’s sick! The worst STD is clearly pregnancy. He’s obviously a general prick! (salutes General Prick).

Safety Will Eventually Dominate Even Normality? That took some effort and I’m not completely satisfied. Next contestant, please.
I always thought Assange was the result of a broken rubber, not the cause. Still, it’s better than a broken fist :)

I don’t believe there ever was any forcing involved, neither woman did anything after they “talked to each other”. The prosecutor is being extremely vocal and public about this whole thing. As the comic states, everything points towards some government stepping in.

@cluster- he already is a father http://www.crikey.com.au/2010/09/17/daniel-assange-i-never-thought-wikileaks-would-succeed/, maybe get your facts straight before saying stupid things.

interesting post discussing the ‘rape’ events: http://radsoft.net/news/20101001,01.shtml

I’ve mainly herad about this on the BBC and, they haven’t outright said it, but they’ve implied that America is putting diplomatic pressure on Sweden to do something about this turbulent priest.

@Paulus: you don’t need the news to know thát! US governments have always been the analog of a 7th grade schoolbully, embarrassingly low IQ included. Might really does make right.

What is the established church?

December 8th, 2010 at 10:50 pm

@Tak There’s a difference between just assuming it’s true and news channels outright implying it… wait…

Anyway, the point I was making is that there’s some validity in that idea and somewhat expanding on Hugomanen’s “everything points towards some government stepping in” – it’s not so much things pointing at, but a specific government actually doing.

There is no spoon.
