   Potentially the best game I’ve played this generation, I’m kinda hoping the overdose of guns refers to the average FPS-slave-moron who can’t appreciate a title like HR :)

   I actually really like the idea and demo of Heavy Rain, but it’s really not for everyone.

   The movement controls are for shit. But the game is a glorified interactive movie. I still found it fun and really immersible. I played for 7 hours straight last night.

    hey remember back when games were a challenge? not just a poorly hidden attempt at making you feel better about your “skillz”? Who doesn´t remember the frustration after loosing a Mario game on world 10? savegame? what is that?
    i haven´t played a single game in YEARS that i couldn´t finish, like it happened with monkey island 2 for example decades ago. It was frustrating, but there was also something good there. And now with games like HR, so called, interactive movies, another turn of the wheel. you are just there for the ride, nothing challenges any part of yourself, lest it happen you break a sweat over a game.

    If I want to break a sweat I’ll go outside and run a couple of miles. I want an immersive, interactive experience. Also, Mario 1 is just as challenging today as it was back then. Contra 1/2/super even more so.

    Or go get megaman 9/10. :)
