What I don’t get is why people want webaccess on their cellphones. Can’t you wait for five damn minutes before you get to the office or home? They just made it to sell you something you really don’t need. Of course I’m shouting in a desert here, but still. You might consider netting (ie talking) with the people on the train or reading a book (NOT an ebook).

Given the resurgence of mobile diallers, it’s only a matter of time :D

And for you “You can’t get a virus” people…. It’s all about exploiting the weakest part of the security… Which is ALWAYS the person using the device.
If I told a million people to root their phone, and do something for a chance to win a prize, then statistically, I’d get around 50000 infected devices. That’s on desktop system stats (All formats, including your precious Linux and MacOs variants), but I’d imagine it’d transpose nicely to mobiles as well.

You know what I will never understand… besides Russian? “Impossible scenario” just a few days ago made fun of Mac Fanboys, we bashed the iPad in the comments like crusaders bashing the Jews (I cannot think of another metaphor right now, sorry to all the Jewish readers!) That’s because the iPad is flawed, we all know it! Why does the author has to clarify his comic this time to avoid flaming? While I agree that Mac Fanboys are a bunch of self righteous, arrogant bitches, we don’t care who made that thing, LG always was a FB free zone, if something is broken we made fun of it. How come the nexus should be immune to that?

What? Noooo, not meant to be a start-a-flame-war thingie.. Ted went on and on about things today. Like “Woho! First SMS!” and so on and so on.. we just figured it’d be a matter of minutes before he went “Woho!.. oh shit.. first virus”. Nothing to do with loath or love for the product. I’m actually considering getting a nexus myself :)
