iNT: It’s the iPoon!

@iNF stole the words right out of my cushy brain.

So… like a Newton?

those touchscreens are gonna get sticky very VERY quickly

January 27th, 2010 at 10:01 pm

@full anka: still better than wiping off the sticky stuff of a keyboard

January 27th, 2010 at 11:01 pm

Exactly my sentiment … can’t see why anyone would get stoked about that one.

the ipad dosnt even have flash support. its like a giant cell phone when comparing its internet usage with anything else. but without a camera, txt support or speakers. so basically its a crappier iphone without the phone part….why is that so interesting?

January 28th, 2010 at 4:40 am

@Skyler Obscura – It actually DOES have a camera, speakers and a microphone, I believe. I am still not sure why is it so cool though…

Adobe: Flash Apps Will Run On The iPad, Even Full Screen At Some Point
But still, that thing didn’t sell me, and I am a huuuge Mac enthusiast! I’m happy that people can get excited about it though *wink wink*!

January 28th, 2010 at 5:00 am

Ok, aparently it doesn’t have a camera, but it costs enough to have two… sorry Mac enthusiasts, but I don’t think that the iPad is that awesome :)

@Skyler Obscura
Oh wait! You where talking about a plugin for the browser? Don’t worry! They already got that fixed, this was a big issue after the keynote though!

January 28th, 2010 at 7:17 pm

no flash support = no pr0n movie browsing as there is no way to see the movies since they require flashplayer. Ipad, the newsreader and pr0npic viewer

oh so it does support flash? ok there’s one plus but i think i’d rather get a laptop with a disk drive for the 500$

January 28th, 2010 at 8:37 pm

@Skyler Obscura
Best thing you can do! I was worried about DRM (Digital Restrictions Management) on the iPhone but the iPad takes that thing to a whole new level, I never though about that before! I really hope that Apple will discontinue to go in that direction.
If you never heard about DRM before go here first:

Yet another inferior Apple product with a heavy price held up by a fancy design and the cult that is the Mac fanboys.
I’m starting to get ashamed of using an ipod

January 29th, 2010 at 3:15 pm

If you already got an i-phone and a Mac, why indeed?
‘I used my i-pad today.’
‘So you’re having your i-period then?’

January 30th, 2010 at 2:43 am

iPad? whoops, i misread iFad :p seriously
p.s. i suggest a new term: iFanboi (for the diehard mac-fanboy :P) and for the truly hardcore: iDesuFanboi

There is no spoon.
