And this is why I won’t buy an iMac. You have to get a new system just to get a bigger screen.
If I wanted a 27 inch screen, I could go spend $400 and get one without having to spend all that cash on a whole new computer.

@Otto: $400?! Where the hell are you shopping? I got my 24″ acer for $168 on newegg.com the 27″ model was like $250. your getting ripped if your paying that much.

They are around $1300 here.

i’d buy a mac pro and then i can still buy a bigger screen, also who needs led backlight by now? most have it all around and at those where the whole area is full with leds it looks like a flat golfball because of all the bright spots
