I got that at the office once: an email saying 'There are problems with Outlook. You cannot send or receive mails for a while'. Duh. Says all you wanna know about our IT unit.
Bush/Cheney '08? Wtf...?
We had a similar all-user email over the network we use at work (i work in public sector so would have went to tens of thousands of people) one lunchtime saying not to use emails from that morning as the servers/network were being updated and it could screw things up or whatnot.
I replied saying "Okay!"
Didn't go down well. IT jockeys have no fuckin sense of humour.

Thinking back, I remmeber getting the email an extra couple of times, Once from our manager forwarding it on to us lowly minions and also from THEIR managers forwarding it on to all their minions.
I'm with Tak, Bush Cheney poster?, although it would have had probably been a beeter complement if you had besides it the chesselhof poster rather than the captain madsen underneath

Guess what, some of them do.
Those are the ones that change the homepage of entire companies to a rickroll on april 1st and make IT jokes that no-one understands
