My sentiments exactly.
That game litterally made me shit my pants within the first 30 minutes of it. If there’s any game I won’t ever finish, it’s that one.

I actually played it for several minutes, until I got my first weapon.
Then I understood that I would have to actually face the bastards, so I quit and uninstalled the game.

How the hell did he manage to shit on the walls? Sitting in a pile of poo I can understand, but that’s surely a result of projectile pooping. Did he play with his pants down?…….. Actually that’s a silly question – It’s Madsen, of course he played with his pants down.

You gotta be joking! That game was great, but it sucked hard as a horror game! It’s just a thriller/shooter for me. Sure, it’s somewhat creepy, but not scary — that’s for sure!

I picked up the game when it first came out in November here in the states…started playin it thinkin “ehh, this aint so bad it’s jus…OH GOD!!!!”
The rest of the game continued like that. It doesn’t let up.

I have played it and I have returned it. It does not scare me much, the story ain’t great and gameplay solely is not satisfying enough for me.

The characters are designed to be scary, but just like in the Resident Evil games, they’re only frightening until you get a handgun. Then it becomes yet another FPS of the bunch. With tentacle-raping babies, if anything, but not even that saves the game.
Besides, the whole “pregnant whale crawling through a desert” mobility the main character has takes a lot of points out of the game, as does the plotline. I liked this game more when it was called Alien. And hey, Halo called, it wants its “main character whose face is covered just so we don’t have to animate it during cutscenes” back.
tl;dr: The game’s is not scary, only barely amusing, and full of tentacle pr0n. It’s Duke Nukem’s revenge.
