Technically, no. There is no need for a species to start from a single point – rather, for example, the drifting apart of tribes of animals, forcing different groups to adapt to different stressors and pressures leads to a slow gradual change in the group.

A) Evolution is not a random process.
B) Evolution does not explain how life began as it is not a theory of that.
C) The Abiogenesis theories that are held as most possible don’t start with “life started from this one single point.”

1) God created Adam and Eve as the first humans.
2) Adam and Eve got two children, Cain and Abel.
3) Cain and Abel moved to another country and found themselves wives…

Slight amendment. If you’re following creationist theory and the path of human DNA, we’re all linked more recently. Let us not forget Noah. Following Biblical history, all human life, with the exception of Noah, his wife, his sons and their wives, were wiped out in a massive world wide flood.
