Guns and Roses suck! what we forget we're doomed to repeat right? Lets never forget how bad GnR sucks ever again, tell your kids the tales about how bad they suck never forget again. Hair80's music is over and dead and it should stay that way. I guess though that if they didn't put out a new album they probably wouldn't be able to afford the very soon coming retirment homes. As for Slash (or whatever the idiot with the hats name is) just because you looked cool in the 80's does NOT mean its cool now-a-days. But what am I saying the is no way to accurately express GnR's mass suckiness.

how interesting that two different persons take two different stereotypes and smack its sticker on the same person. Just by doing so, MadMike and Jeff you two are doing the exact same as Tim on different music styles. Be a bit graceful and just ash the person not the music you don't know he listens too. All music styles should be celebrated for the simple fact of being music whether or not you like them all. I don't like rap either but I'm not going around chanting that it sucks.

Of course Slash doesn't like Dr P. It isn't nearly toxic enough. taste doesn't count. I'm talking alcohol by volume and cocaine/ml.
On that note... I really crave Dr P and Jager right now. I've never had it before but I have a suspiscion that it might taste nice. this may need experimentation on Friday night.

That's a load of crap. If music is shit or I don't like it, I have every right to diss it. If music has bad lyrics, no rhythm, is oversimplistic, whatever.. people should say what they think about it, to get it off the radio and off the shelves.. make room for better stuff. You could say the same "celebrate it just for being " about almost anything (life, cars, films, sex, breasts[I mean women], books, poetry). It's called positivism and was over several decades ago...

Ah +8)-DX I said music styles not music I think that rapper 50 cent makes terrible rap bad lyrics etc but that doesn't mean I say rap itself is bad.

Actually my tastes run more along the lines of Napalm Death, Type O-, (old) Metallica, Slipknot, Sisters of Mercy, Six Feet Under, Cannibal Corpse, Coal Chamber (even though they suck live), on and on. Just to put this on the record too; I have an opinion and I'll express the fuck outta it (and if you don't like it don't read it) AND I'd rather tour with GnR cleaning their toilets then put up with any whiney, mopey Emo gayness. I don't like Rap either but thats why I simply don't listen to it (and before anyone notes, I wouldn't ever listen to GnR but they have a radio at work). Also rock would be here just as strong as it is now without 'Hair' music because suprisingly enough there were other genres of rock at the same time as hair. Its just that 'hair' music easily catered to the gayest common denominator. Unwanted opinion FTW! ^_^;;

Guns N Roses first album was in 1987 entitled 'Appetite for Destruction'. And yes they blew back then too. Least I know what I'm talkin about.

I like yer taste in music mate but I really love the old Gn'R. Appetite for destruction is still a regular appearence on my iPod. I even like most of the songs on the Use your illusion albums. But I have to say, Chinese Democracy is crappy. 15 years of work and Axl brings us a new lvl of suck.

Why thank you. I really wasn´t expecting a hairdo analysis after reading a webcomic, it really shows where our interests lie. While some like good rock, others... well others will diss it because of their haircut. Much like the stereotypical blonde american teenager.
^_^; "Hair" music is just a term coined in america back in the day to refer to the genre - negative connotation. (Not that they didn't look stupid anyway). Come on though Axl Rose's voice is just so damn irratating, I can't be the only one thinking that. If I wanted that kind of annoyance I could just listen to Cradle of Filth least they have sweet instrumental skills. Thats just the opinion of a nonsteriotypical blackpurple haired Native American Indian :P

Back in the day I was a massive fan, and I still listen to those classic albums, but I listen to then new album and my reaction was "Meh!".
15 years and $9 million? Was that spent on pies? It sure as hell wasn't spent on the music.
He had an excellent collection of musicians (Josh Freese, lovely bloke, borrowed my lighter at a NIN aftershow, Robin Finck/Bumblefoot/Buckethead = guitar gods) and still made a mess of it.
for one thing, that was one hell of an ugly album cover. >_<
