and yes, id say that a “black man being elected” is one of the most important things that has ever happened for the american equal rights movement. awarding equal rights is one thing, having the country view it as ‘right’ is entirely different. please, next time, take a look outside your box before you speak

I’m a little late on the uptake, I know. If you make this into a poster, I will buy it. I will hang it in my room next to my yard sign. Driving two hours from school, waiting in line two more, and then going back to vote for Obama in my first presidential election was one of my happiest days in a long, long time. Incredible.

also@that one guy: No one I knew looked down on Europe for wanting Obama to win. I was so busy ignoring my neighbors’ glares and having my classmates tell me I was just jealous of Palin because she was hot to call Europe names in my head. T_T

I think VeC was being sarcastic. The pro molesting thing kinda gives it away. As a black man in americ,a if anybody even SUSPECTED he was a fiddler of the kiddies he would have been taken away by men dressed in robes and wizard hats made out of bedsheets and crucified upside down before being set on fire.

In terms of domestic policy, it’s going to be quite a change from the old Bush regeime, but we’ll see what happens now Barrak (sp?) has been briefed on the classified: top secret stuff by the CIA and other departments. baring in mind It’s early days yet, the guy doesn’t even take up the job until January.

Personally, as a non-States resident I’m more concerned that the economy gets cleared up soon. Paying £3 for a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk is really pissing me off >_<”

As for the “America Won” comment, surely just getting Bush out of the Oral Office is win enough?

Personally, I hope (and believe) that Obama will be a good president. And if he’s not, what’s changed? The people US citizens are choosing to lead themselves have been pathetic leaders. America has long overstepped it’s bounds for decades.

This is the 1st and last of this comic that I have seen and will see. Your failure to comprehend what has happened has lost you myself as a viewer, and anyone else I know. This man only won because of his race, and If you think me a racist for thinking that, then you should look closer at the situation and the people involved. The US is now controled by people that hate the country, want to see our freedom taken from us, and our money placed in their hands for their purposes, not ours. They want to rewrite the constitution that has served as the foundation for this great country, and disassemble what our forefathers have built for us. The fact that he STILL won only shows that there are too many rich people who are sick of Bush, and too many “poor” people looking for a hand-out. Frankly, I am disgusted at your thoughts and your comic. Lastly, Ron Paul is -the- only person fit for the job of President of the United States.

Obama wont change much.

Ilegal detention areas overseas all over tge world still exist, no will to remove them, etc.

And i don’t thinks most iraquis are thanking anything to the intervention. The american TV has mild censorship and government control of what the show and want you to see.

I live on other country, and I saw documentarys that show iraquis saying “We were better off with Hussein, at least he gave us water”! It was from a town dying of thirst because the water suply was cut due to the american invasion.

That withput counting countless war crimes like sexualy abusing prisioners and civilians, stagged them on colossal piles on naked bodies, torture, etc…
